    8th grade students going to Washington DC: Reminder that the final payment is due the Tuesday right after spring break April 4th.

    Testing Dates - AIR Tests; All tests will begin in the morning and be completed by lunch time, unless the student has specific testing requirements that allow for additional time.

    Our Librarian, Mrs. Torrence has some poetry activities planned for the LMC in April and will need black Sharpies and strips of magnets with the peel off adhesive on one side so the students can make their own magnetic poetry kits. These are sold in rolls. She will need 5-10 rolls. If you would like to donate these please send them to the office.  Thank you so much!

    Sports:
    High School Cheerleading tryouts will begin on Monday, April 10th at 5pm. Please stop in the office to sign up and pick up an informational packet. You must sign up by Thursday, April 6th.

    There will be no Track practice Today, Friday the 24th.

     

    There is OPTIONAL track practice next week. Tuesday from 2pm-330pm, Wednesday 2pm-330pm and Thursday 10am-1130am. This is optional meaning you DO NOT have to come if you do not want to. It is encouraged but not required.

    Tipp Monroe Swim Team (TMST) will be accepting registrations for the summer swim team starting April 1st.  All registrations and fee payments will be completed online. Please visit  www.tipptorpedoes.swim-team.com  and click on the “Online Registration” link on the upper right side of the page to complete your registration.  (There is a $10/swimmer late fee if registered after May 1st) Practices will begin at the Troy YMCA on May 3rd.  The season will run through July 16.  Please review our updated swim team manual for our season schedule and other important information prior to the start of practice (www.tipptorpedoes.swim-team.com).

    Reminder to all TMS students & parents – All pick up and drop off before and after school is from the back door of the building that faces LT Ball. All pick up and drop off during school hours, for appointments, or parents dropping off items, must be through the front door that faces Hyatt Street.

     IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE 2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR

    2017-2018 school year, the Ohio Department of Health requires all students entering 7th grade be vaccinated against meningococcal disease. This requirement will be enforced progressively as it was in adopted last school year 2016-2017.

     All students who will be entering 7th grade for the 2017-2018 school year will be required to have the Tdap vaccine AND meningococcal vaccine or they will be excluded from school on the 14th day after school begins.  A second dose of the meningococcal vaccine will be required prior to entry into the 12th grade. 

    Documentation of the required vaccines or handwritten exemption must be on file on or prior to the first day of school. Please submit documentation as soon as possible.

     Contact your licensed health care provider to see if your student has had the required vaccine(s).  If not, schedule an appointment for your student to receive the vaccine(s).  Public Health-Miami County offers vaccines at a reduced cost.  Please call 937-573-3500 for more information.

     PLEASE NOTE: ORC 3313.671 states that a pupil can remain in school for 14 days after the start of school. If the appropriate documentation is not submitted, the pupil will be excluded from attending school and participating in sports or extracurricular activities.

     1st day of school is August 24, 2017 (Grades 1-12) and exclusion date is September 15, 2017. (this date accommodates the Kindergarten start date of August 29, 2017)
