Certified Staff
 Elementary / Intermediate K-5 Guidance Counselor

-Active Ohio K-12 License

-Strong listening and communication skills

-Builds a strong rapport with students, staff and parents

-Provides support in small groups or on an individual basis, as needed

-Serves as building test coordinator

-Participates in building outreach to the community such as Kindergarten Round-up, SPARK, Open House, Conferences, etc.

-Champion for Rachel’s Challenge at the building level

-Strong teamwork approach

 

Middle School / High School 6-12 Guidance Counselor

-Active Ohio K-12 License

-Strong listening and communication skills

-Builds a positive rapport with students, staff and parents

-Provides student support through individual or small groups

-Serves as building test coordinator

-Provides students with information on acquiring HS credits required for graduation

-Provides students with information on post-secondary transition and the application process for colleges, universities and advanced training

-Participates in building initiatives such as planned activities to support building transition of students

-Strong teamwork approach

-Strong computer skills, including familiarity with DASL

 

Complete an on-line application on the Dayton Consortium, upload a letter of interest, a current copy of license, pertinent attachments and 3 references with application.

7th Grade English Language Arts

-Required:  Active Ohio teaching license—one of the following:  4-9; 7-12 or 1-8

-Strong content knowledge

-Engage students in their learning

-Sound understanding of Ohio New Learning Standards

-Collaborative team approach

-Strong communication and technology skills

-Knowledge of OTES, SLO’s, SGM’s

-Knowledge of PARCC and AIR assessment

-Establishes a positive rapport with students, parents and colleagues

-Differentiates lessons to meet the needs of all students

-Knowledge of Value-Added

-Interested and willing to serve as a coach within the district

Complete  an application on the Dayton Consortium with attached letter of interest, resume, copy of license, and 3 references

 

 

5th Grade LTB, HQT Math & Social Studies

 

-Required:  Active Ohio teaching license—one of the following:  4-9, Pk-3 w 4/5 endorsement or 1-8

-Strong content knowledge in areas of Math and Social Studies

-Engage students in their learning

-Sound understanding of Ohio New Learning Standards

-Collaborative team approach

-Strong communication and technology skills

-Knowledge of OTES, SLO’s, SGM’s

-Knowledge of PARCC and AIR assessment

-Establishes a positive rapport with students, parents and colleagues

-Differentiates lessons to meet the needs of all students

-Knowledge of Value-Added

-Become actively involved in building initiatives/ activities such as Wellness, Open House, SPARK

-Interested and willing to serve as a coach within the district
