WHO:Nevin Coppock Parent Teacher Club

 

WHAT:The Nevin Coppock PTC is an organization of parents, educators and others joining together to improve the educational opportunities and social climate of Nevin Coppock students.

 

WHEN:The NCPTC will meet 9 times during the academic year.Meetings are held at various times to accommodate the schedules of busy parents and educators. The schedule for 2011-12 is:

HOW:The NCPTC is a non-profit organization; as a parent of a Nevin Coppock student, you are a member.PTC volunteers have many opportunities to contribute their time and talents - please review the attached volunteer sign-up sheet.

PLEASE KEEP THESE PASSIVE FUNDRAISERS IN MIND

As the Holiday season quickly approaches, the Nevin Coppock PTC thought we would try and make your Holiday shopping a bit easier.

We have decided to participate in a SCRIP fundraiser.  SCRIP is a way to sell numerous restaurant and retail gift cards and earn a percentage on each one that is sold.  We DO NOT want your children selling door to door.  We just thought if we could save the Nevin families and staff a few trips to the store, you could get all your gift cards at one time and make alittle money while we do it, WHY NOT????

Order 3:  Turn in date Monday Dec 12
              Receive by Monday Dec 19
We will be emailing additional order forms for the 2nd and 3rd turn in dates.

 


                                                               Box Tops

There is a container for Box Tops and Campbell Labels near the school office. Either send them in with your child, or drop them off yourself. There's a contest going on among the classes for box tops so remember to mark what child and class they should count towards. Every little bit counts! Also, go to www.boxtops4education.com and sign up to receive free box tops for our school. They also offer printable coupons for Box Top brands. Please tell everyone you know to sign-up, select Nevin Coppock Elementary School PTA/PTO, and help us earn free box tops.

 

Exciting additional way to earn Campbell Labels Points

Go to www.elabelsforeducation.com to register your Kroger card (not the gift card program below, but the one that gets you cheaper gas). Every time you buy a campbell product, you'll automatically earn us points without even having to clip the label. Then, clip the label and send it in to get us even more points.

Kroger Gift Card

The Kroger gift card program is a year-round fundraiser that is working really well for us. We receive 4% of the amounts reloaded onto these cards. Look for information on how to order a Kroger card to be coming home soon; plus, a limited number will be available for immediate pickup during the Open House. To order one, contact Laura. Meijer Community Rewards -- IMPORTANT UPDATE


If you are not a Meijer Community Rewards member (or your previous membership has lapsed), please go to http://www.meijer.com/Rewards/ to enroll anew or call 1-800-962-7011. Our school code is 285675. Also, please pass the word onto your friends and family and let's try to get our supporter list built back up again. Meijer will donate .5% of purchases made with cash or debit card and 1% of purchases made with a Meijer credit card. No donations are made for non-Meijer credit card purchases. Organizations must meet a minimum threshold of $100 before a payment is made. Amounts less than $100 will be rolled over to the following month and issued when the total is more than $100.

Over the past couple of years the Nevin Coppock Parent-Teacher Club has focused our fundraising efforts more and more on passive fundraising opportunities. What do we mean by 'passive' fundraising? Passive fundraising:

1)involves projects that cost the PTC little or no monetary investment

2)do not involve our children in direct sales of merchandise

3)do not cost parents any money that they would not be spending otherwise
