Good morning, Red Devils! On Monday, April 6th, we moved to Google Classroom. Please make sure to check your student e-mail for invitations to my courses. Hint: your e-mail is your school computer username @student.tippcityschools.com.
For those of you with questions about the new school schedule: because your child's curriculum is highly individualized, I do not believe full class meetings would benefit the majority of the students. I will continue to meet with students one-on-one or in small groups via Zoom as long as I am able. If our current time conflicts with your child's schedule, please let me know.
This is my twelfth year in education and my sixth year teaching at Tippecanoe High School. I graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 2005 and am so excited to be back in my hometown! For my first six years, I taught high school English in Dayton and worked in dropout recovery in Springfield.
I am excited to be part of Tippecanoe High School's special education team. We work with a diverse group of students with diverse needs. Due to their need for individualized instruction at their ability levels and their right to confidentiality, weekly lesson plans will not be published online. If you have questions about your child's curriculum, please e-mail me at email@example.com. Student progress reports will be sent home with the student once each quarter, unless caregivers request additional notifications.
I am passionate about education and the importance of keeping an open line of communication with parents. If you need to contact me, please do not hesitate to e-mail or call. I look forward to a great school year!
