The TMS Gardening Club will continue weekly meetings throughout the summer months.  The first meeting will be Wednesday June 2nd from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.  Students will enter through the back athletic entrance by the gym.   Even if you haven't attended Gardening club during the school year, you may attend these meetings if you get a permission form from Mr. Bonifas.

Sixth and seventh graders who intend to return to TMS in the fall and have returned all of their library books and paid their fines may check out up to 3  library books for the summer. Stop in the library on Wednesday (from 11:05-12:09)  or Thursday to make your summer reading selections. This is a great way to engage your brain over the summer, even if you can't get to the Tipp City Public Library.

Help give your RED Devil class an edge on Field Day! Register for the Tipp City Public Library's Summer Reading Challenge by going to  https://tippcitylibrary.beanstack.org/. Every p[erson who registers before midnight on Tuesday, May 25, will earn one bonus point for your RED Devil class.

The last day to submit any 20 Book Challenge responses is Tuesday, May 25 at 11:59 PM.

All library books and library fines are due.

Tipp City Public Library is looking for some outstanding teens to volunteer this summer. Applications are in the TMS library or on the TCPL's Teen page. https://tippcitylibrary.org/teens/ Applications are due by June 1 and require a parent's permission.

6th and 7th grade girls interested in volleyball, please note there will be 3 open gyms in June: Thursday 10th, Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 23rd all from 9-10:30.  When you arrive, come through the back athletic entrance. If you have questions, see Coach Wildermuth.

If you are going into grades 7-12 come join the high school color guard on May 27 from 3:00-5:00 pm in the high school band room. Color guard dances with flags and mock rifles. No experience is necessary, come meet new friends and learn a new skill! If there are any questions, see Mr. Parks or Mr. Monath.

If a student wants to purchase a yearbook they are $30! This year we are also offering a BOGO! A purchase of the 2020-21 yearbook also gets you a copy of the 2019-2020 yearbook! While supplies last :) We accept cash or checks (checks can be written out to Tipp City Schools). They can purchase during RD or before school. They can come to either Mrs. Phibbs-Kleather (Rm 212) or Mrs. Pierson (Rm 129) before school. If a student who preordered a 2020-21 yearbook wants to participate in the BOGO, they will have to bring in $5 to buy a 2019-2020 yearbook because the pre-ordered books were a little cheaper. This keeps everything equal and helps us make back some of the money we lost due to COVID.

Any 6th and 7th grade boy interested in playing basketball next winter, there will be open gyms from 2:45-4 at the middle school. You can put your basketball stuff in the boys locker room before school. The final day is 27th for open gyms. See Mr. Slyman if you have any questions.

If you are interested in playing basketball on either the 7th or 8th-grade girls basketball team for the 21-22 season, you may attend open gyms offered on the following dates at TMS: (all Wednesdays)  5/26: 245-400pm. Arrive wearing your mask, practice clothes, and basketball shoes. Bring your own water bottle. See Coach Brown in room 132 if you have any questions.
