Scheduling Information (2020-2021 School Year)

  • February 1-2, 2021 - The high school counselors will be meeting with 8th graders based on their last name during Red Devil period. They will hand out pink scheduling request sheets. Students need to have these filled out and their requests turned in to their Red Devil teachers by February 12th. 

    February 4, 2021 - The 8th Grade Parent Meeting will be part of our Curriculum Night from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, this will be virtual. All parents/guardians are invited to attend an informational session on freshman scheduling presented by THS Counselors. Students will be entering their schedule requests from February 9th - 12th, Mrs. Toohey will be in the library to answer any questions students may have.

    February 4, 2021 - The College Credit Plus (CCP) Meeting will be part of our Curriculum Night from 7:15 - 8:00 PM, this will be virtual. This is a mandatory meeting for all students interested in participating in College Credit Plus for the 2021-2022 school year. You must submit your intent to participate form to the school counseling office by May 1, 2021.
     
    February 9, 2021 - School Counselors will distribute scheduling sheets and online scheduling will open on February 9th. Scheduling demonstrations will be shown through advisory. All schedule requests must be submitted on-line by February 12th, also turn in your scheduling sheet to your advisor by this date.
     
    February 12, 2021 - All students need to have their scheduling requests entered into PowerSchool and their scheduling sheets turned into their advisor. 
  • Current 9th through 11th grade students: 
    • If you are unsure of classes you should take, first speak with your current teacher(s) to discuss with them options for next year. If you are still unsure, see your counselor.
    • Log into PowerSchool and on the left hand side click on "Class Registration" and register for the classes you have selected on your Course Selection sheet (the slamon, green, or yellow sheet). Once you have entered these requests online, turn in your signed course selection sheet to your advisor.
    • If students anticipate participating in the CCP program or has completed an application to attend the Miami Valley Career Technology Center, you must still complete the Course Selection Sheet and turn it in, as well as, complete the online registration process. This will help ensure that if your plans do change for some reason, you are still able to have a schedule of classes that you will enjoy and the appropriate placements in the core academic classes. 
      • If you would like to participate in the CCP program, there is a mandatory meeting regarding the CCP Program. This meeting will be held on February 4, 2021 at 7:15 p.m., this will be virtual.
