Due to Covid-19, we will finish the 2019-20 school year with distance learning.  All the work for my classes will be posted in the Language Arts tabs of Google Classroom.  You can still find grades posted in Power School (I am not posting grades in Google Classroom since we are required to put them in Power School).  I hope you are all keeping your bodies and your minds healthy and active! This is the best thing we can do to protect ourselves during these times.  As always, you can contact me through email or Remind.  I will continue to hold weekly Zoom sessions for each class until the end of this academic year.  We are in this together and need to "embrace the shake."  Education is a privilege that we cannot take for granted.  Students must do the work to continue to grow into the amazing young adults they are designed to be.  Happy learning!
I will post assignments for the week, but please remember that they are subject to change.  Thank you for visiting my web page. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family, reading, baking and watching my favorite teams compete.  I have lived in Tipp City for twenty-two years, lived in Hilliard, OH before coming here and attended St. Henry schools all twelve years of my schooling.  If you need to contact me, you may email me a mstucke@tippcity.k12.oh.us.
I am a teacher, a mother, a grandmother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, and a friend.  Nothing excites me more than the "teachable moment"--and life is filled with these.  I enjoy learning from my students, and it is my hope that they enjoy learning from me.

Together, we will work on becoming better readers, writers, speakers and listeners.  So much of success in life depends upon how well we can communicate our thoughts and ideas to others.  This notion will be the basis of all work and studies done in the classroom.  Your child will have opportunities to write stories and poetry, enhance grammar skills, give speeches, read many types of genre, listen to/critique his peers, build a better working vocabulary and much more.  I am excited about teaching as it truly is a passion for me.  The bulk of all work will be done during class.  Your child will be assigned one reading activity outside of class each nine weeks.  We will go to the library each grading period but students may get their book from another library.  Students should always have a book to read with them during class.
"According to state standards, I am certified as a Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) which ensures the school district, and parents, that I am offering a quality education for all my students."
