Welcome to Mrs. Green's Web page!L.T. Ball Tab-A-Pull-ooza!This is what 212 pounds of pull tabs look like on their way to Tab-A-Pull-ooza!Each May, the pull tabs that we collect are taken to the PNC 2nd Street Market for the annual Ronald McDonald House charities Tab-A-Pull-ooza. The tabs are weighed for our "official" total and then added to a huge dumpster. Schools, churches, and other organizations save the tabs all year long (just like we do) for this special event. All the collected tabs are then taken to a special recycling location, weighed again, then the money that is generated from the tabs is given to our local Ronald McDonald House in Dayton, Ohio! The money is used for families that need a place to stay while a child is being hosptialized at Dayton Children's Medical Center. This is what the Dayton Ronald McDonald House looks like.(picture taken by Molly R. Green)100% of all the pull tabs we collect go to the yearly Tab-A-Pull-ooza.No money is given to L.T. Ball. The only compensation that we get is the pride of knowing that we have been able to help others in need. The Tab-A-Pull-ooza is a lot of fun, too!(picture taken by Molly R. Green)Please save pull tabs and turn them into Mrs. Green in the kitchen!Other Things:When I am not cooking lunches at school and collecting pull tabs, I spend my time with my family and my puppy, Rose.I adoped Rose from the Miami County Animal Shelter. She is a mix between a border collie and a cattle dog, we think. She is so cute!I really love photography and began taking pictures 35 years ago.I have taken film photography classes at Sinclair Community College and have taken several workshops at Hayner Cultural Center and through Five Rivers Metro Parks. If you would like to see some of my photos, please look at my Flickr page: http://www.flickr.com/photos/coffeemomma1/I really like music, too.My favorite singer is Jimmy Buffett! People who like Jimmy Buffett are called Parrotheads. I am a BIG parrothead!Every year when Jimmy Buffett comes to Cincinnati for a concert, I am there!
