  • Tipp City Exempted Village Schools and its local community are committed to educational excellence and proud of its students' achievements in academics, athletics, and service to others.  Strong community support, involved parents, and dedicated, highly qualified educators are the pillars to our success.   

    Our programs prepare students for promising futures by providing them with a rigorous K-12 curriculum in small classroom settings and encouraging their personal accomplishments.  The vision of the Tipp City Exempted Village Schools is to build a community of lifelong learners committed to scholarship, leadership, citizenship and service.  The school districtl provides independent and collaborative educational experiences to develop and promote each student's intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth.  Teachers also place a value on developing responsibility and self-confidence in students.

    Because of our extraordinary teachers, Tipp City students consistently rank among the top in the region on standardized proficiency and achievement tests.  Students annually boast National Merit recognition, earn significant scholarship awards, and gain acceptance into the nation's most prestigious universities such as Stanford, Brown, Notre Dame, Johns Hopkins University,  NYU, Vanderbilt and MIT. Almost all THS Class of 2014 graduates are continuing their education at colleges, universities, vocational schools or the military.

    Believing that classroom instruction is only one part of a student's education, the Tipp City School District offers a myriad of co-curricular opportunities.  Students have access to strong academic teams, award-winning vocal and instrumental music programs, outstanding visual and performing arts, leadership opportunities, social service clubs and athletics.  Teams compete in the Central Buckeye Conference and enjoy a strong, spirited fan base!

    Tipp City Exempted Village Schools has an enrollment of approximately 2500 students and consists of five schools.  They are: 

       Tippecanoe High School (Grades 9-12)

       Tippecanoe Middle School (Grades 6-8)

       L.T. Ball Intermediate School (Grades 4-5)

       Broadway Elementary School  (Grades 2-3)

       Nevin Coppock Elementary School (Grades K-1)

    Tippecanoe High School is accredited by the State of Ohio and the North Central Association. In addition to having outstanding advanced placement, college preparatory and general courses of study, THS is affiliated with the Miami Valley Career Technology Center, which offers 50 vocational and technical programs. The high school also offers Post Secondary Enrollment Options(PSEO) and Dual Enrollment. The district  also promotes high achievement with a comprehensive Gifted and Enrichment Education Program.

    Tipp City schools are the heart of our small, vibrant community.  Whether attending an athletic event, volunteering as a tutor, or organizing a special event, community support is overwhelming. It is prominently evident in the untiring support from booster organizations, parent groups, the business community and local government.  It is easy to see why excellence is a tradition in Tipp City Exempted Village Schools.
