Welcome to Physical Education at Tippecanoe High School. My name is Mr. Derge and I’m in my 6th year of teaching at Tippecanoe Schools. My first two years I worked at the middle school as an intervention specialist and my last two years I’ve worked at the high school in the same role. I am excited for my second year teaching PE. I graduated from Wright State in 2011 with a Bachelors in Health and PE, and went back to get my masters in Special Education in 2013. The main goal of my PE class to teach and equip you with the life skills to be physically active for a life time!!!
I am originally from Enon, OH and a graduate of Greenon High School. I am married to my lovely wife Lindsey Derge and have a 2 year old son named Jaxson. I have coached football for 11 years, basketball for 5 years, and baseball for 3. I enjoy teaching and coaching sports and want to make an impact in YOUR life.
