Mrs. Kaci Matthews

Hi there! I hope all of you had a great summer and are prepared for this upcoming school year! This summer my husband and I were able to spend qualilty time with our families and take a small vacation to Ashville, NC.  This will be my fifth year teaching at Tippecanoe Middle School. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Adaptive Physical Education from Ashland University in 2013. In college I was fortunate enough to have participated on the Varsity Womens Basketball Team from 2009-2013. During my senior season, our basketball team won the 2013 DIV II National Championship! It was an amazing experience that taught me a lot about humility, hardwork, dedication, and the value of teamwork. All of which I hope to pass onto my students here at Tippecanoe Middle School!
A little more about myself. I was born and raised right down the road from Tipp City in West Milton, where I graduated from Milton-Union in 2009. My family consists of my parents Kevin and Diana Finfrock as well as my twin brother and sister, Jacob Finfrock and Jessica Taffe. I love to tell people that my brother and brother-in-law are in the military and my sister is raising a family. I am one proud sister!
This year, I will not only be the MS PE teacher at Tipp City, I will also be the Varsity Girls and Boys Tennis Coach. I hope to continue the athletic success that our community has come to expect here at Tipp City!
Again, I can't express how blessed I am to be teaching in such a great District and getting to work side by side with this amazing community in educating our students to become better, holistic individuals in every stage of their lives!
