Mr. Brett Elliott

Hello, my name is Brett Elliott.  I graduated from the University of Dayton in 2014 with my master's degree in School Counseling.  This is my fifth year as a counselor at LT Ball.  Prior to becoming a counselor I graduated from Ohio Northern University and taught Social Studies for 11 years at Stebbins High School in Riverside.  I became a counselor because of my passion for helping students and love for all things related to psychology.  When I'm not at school my favorite hobbies are golf, movies, and watching sports.  I love the Bengals and the Buckeyes, but I will still work with Browns and Wolverines fans :)

As a school counselor I will work with students and parents to help with personal, social, and academic challenges.  I will provide students with individual counseling, small group counseling, and classroom guidance.

If I can be of any assistance please do not hesitate to contact me.

  • Individual Counseling
Individual counseling sessions can be requested by the student, parent, or teacher.  If a student wishes to request a session, counseling request forms are located in a box outside of my office door.  Take the request from the box fill it out and drop it in the drop box also located outside of my office door.  If a parent wishes to request a session please call my office 669-6324 or email me at
Individual counseling can help students with academic, social, and/or emotional concerns.
    Group Counseling
This year I will be running groups for:
       -Conflict Resolution
       -Other needs that arise
They will be run for roughly 6-8 weeks, then we will evaluate the need to continue.  If you would like to have your student in one of these groups please contact me. A Student can also be referred to a group by his/her classroom teacher, or myself.
If your student is chosen for a group you will receive a permission slip or a phone call.
    Classroom Guidance
Classroom lessons will be provided on an as needed basis- based upon teacher's needs in the classroom.
