Mrs. Kayleigh Rhoton

Hello! I am Kayleigh Rhoton (George) and I am very excited to be your child’s math teacher this year! This will be my third year at Tippecanoe High School and I am looking forward to having a great year!

A little bit about me- I grew up in the small town of Bowling Green, OH home of Bowling Green State University where I went to Bowling Green High School. Growing up so close to the college, I was eager to go further away for school. I attended the beautiful Miami University and graduated with a degree in Math Education and a minor in Dance. I am also currently working on my Masters at Miami. This year I am coaching the Devilaires dance team and am super excited! I've been living in the Dayton area for about two years now and am slowly getting acquainted with everything there is to offer. Feel free to share your favorite places to go! When I’m not teaching, you can catch me dancing, drinking lots of coffee, or hiking at Charleston Falls! P.S. I also just got married right before school started, so many of you who knew me as Miss George will have a big adjustment to make.

It’s important to me that you are an active part of your child’s education and are aware of what’s happening in my classroom. I will do my best to periodically send out emails, but I encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions or concerns. The best way to contact me is through my email (preferred) or by calling the school at 937-667-8448 and using my extension x2748. To the left you will find tabs for the classes I teach. In each, I have attached a syllabus. I encourage both parents and students to look over that when you get the chance to get a feel for my classroom. Checking my webpage periodically will be a great way to keep up with assignments, notes, and fun happenings. You can also join my class on the Remind app (links and directions on class pages).

While this year is certainly wild and very unexpected, I think this year is going to be great. I look forward to working with your child!
