Mrs. Leslie S. Christofano
My name is Leslie Christofano and I am the Assistant Principal at Tippecanoe High School. I am thrilled to be working at THS and look forward to getting to know the students, family and community of Tipp City.
B.A. - Global Policy Studies & Spanish - Chatham University, Pittsburgh, PA
M.Ed - Educational Leadership & Principal Licensure - Wright State University, Dayton OH
I grew up nearby, in Lewisburg, and graduated from Tri-County North. I went to college in Pittsburgh, PA, where I played Libero on the Chatham University Volleyball Team. We won a conference championship in 2000! During my undergraduate career I had the opportunity to work in a bilingual elementary school and knew immediately that I was meant to be in the classroom and in the field of education. After graduation I moved back to the Dayton area and I started my teaching career as a High School Spanish Teacher at West Carrollton High School in 2003. After some time I went on to teach at Miamisburg High and, most recently, at Bellbrook High School. In total, I taught for 16 years. Along the way I completed my Master's degree in Educational Leadership as well as the Principal Licensure program. I have also been a Varsity Volleyball Coach, Advisor of the National Honor Society and Class Advisor.
I am a mom to three young daughters; Lucia, Celia & Julia and my husband, Jason, works as an Occupational Therapist.
I look forward to meeting each of you and working toward a successful school year!
