Steve Parks – Director (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Emily Brinkman – Director (email@example.com)The Tippecanoe Middle School Band Program has a long standing tradition of excellence. The middle school program has nearly 220 students involved and serves as a positive and exciting experience for all students involved. The middle school, holding grades 6, 7, and 8, allows for students to meet for band daily. The bands are very active during the entire school year, performing in the Tipp City Mum Festival parade, along with a winter holiday concert, a spring concert, and a performance at the OMEA large group middle school contest. 7th and 8th grade band members also take an annual trip to Kings Island! The middle school students also participate in the "world's largest pep band" with nearly 150 students performing at two junior high basketball games during the school year.
Some dates for this year include:
January 22 - TMS Pep Band @ Girls Basketball Game
January 23 - TMS Pep Band @ Boys Basketball Game
Monday, March 18 - Solo & Ensemble Contest (7th and 8th Grade)
Thursday, May 16 - TMS Spring Concert 6:30pm
Saturday, May 18 - 7th and 8th Grade Bands to Kings Island

Listed below are class expectations, rules, and a copy of the practice card instructions.Expectations
We have a very high level of expectation for our students. We ask that they give us 100% everyday, in order to continue to become excellent and work towards our common goal to be the best we can.
Band Classroom Rules
Classroom rules in the band room are fairly simple, but we are very serious about students understanding and following these rules, so all students can learn in a safe and fun environment.Practice Card Instructions
Practice cards are essential to the success of our band program. Practice cards are a total of 15% of the students grade each quarter. We ask that students practice 90 minutes each week, as there are always performances or playing tests that we are preparing for! Practice Cards are due every week on Sunday - you will not be able to enter any previous practice cards after 11:59pm on Sundays. Any previous minutes shoul be added to the current practice card you are working on.Questions? Please contact us...Mr. Parks: firstname.lastname@example.orgMrs. Brinkman email@example.com
