    Students, with the morning arrival time being increasingly darker, please be very careful walking and riding bikes to school.  Reflective clothing and backpacks along with lights on bicycles will help drivers see you.  Also remember to stay within the designated walking areas.

    For students that ordered school pictures, they are in.  Please let us know if you do not get yours as ordered.  Picture retakes are on October 26th.

    BOXTOP Collection extended through Thursday October 26th! The winning Red Devil class gets to go to lunch first and to the gym first after lunch! Please bring your BoxTops in bags to the office with your name on them. Mrs. FETTERS’ class is in the lead, Mr. McKINNEY’s is in 2nd place, & Mrs. P. BROWN ‘s class in 3rd place!  We have 2571 right now! Don’t let those Box Tops expire!

    Book Fair will run through today, Oct. 18th.  SWAT will be in Frank’s Lab during that time.

    If you missed the 8th grade Washington DC trip meeting and would still like to go, pick up a packet in the office.

    Choir Concert – Thursday 6:30 at the High School CPA

    STEM CLUB will hold its first meeting this Thursday October 19th after school until 3:30. This year the students will be working with, racing, and jumping toy Hess dragsters.  Permission slips are available outside the office, on TMS Clubs page under STEM Club, or from Mr. Bonifas.  A one-time $20 club fee and school fees must be paid before you can participate. Please contact Mrs. Bonifas if you have any questions.

    Students and staff may shop at the Scholastic Book Fair in the library until 12:05 on Wednesday, October 18. The stock was replenished Friday afternoon, so the shelves are full, including the Shonen Jump pack and Bob’s Burgers. Warcross is on backorder and hopefully will arrive Tuesday. See Mrs. Torrence if you are interested in buying Warcross


    If you want to enter to win one of the nine Scholastic books, you must enter with a quarter donation or an online book review by the end of the day Tuesday. Winners will be drawn Wednesday morning and announced before lunch.

    7th grade lost a tough fight last night to a very good springboro team. The scores were 22-25, 26-24 and 19-25. They finished the season with just this one loss. Congratulations to the whole team on a great season!

    TMS XC athletes: Turn in your clean uniform to Coach Brown (room 132) by this Friday. Make sure you have her mark you off the list and get your “XC memory card”.

    Student Tickets - $4.00 (Student Tickets are valid for students in grades 1-12)
    Adult Tickets – $6.00. All tickets at the gate will be $8.00.  Presale tickets can be purchased at Hock’s Pharmacy- Monday through 4:00 PM on Friday – Hock’s Pharmacy will accept CASH ONLY for ticket purchases.  Tickets can also be purchased during school hours in the High School Athletic Office.  Middle school will sell tickets in the office through lunch on FRIDAY. NO REFUNDS AFTER PURCHASE

    2017-2018 school year, the Ohio Department of Health requires all students entering 7th grade be vaccinated against meningococcal disease. This requirement will be enforced progressively as it was in adopted last school year 2016-2017.

     All students who will be entering 7th grade for the 2017-2018 school year will be required to have the Tdap vaccine AND meningococcal vaccine or they will be excluded from school on the 14th day after school begins.  A second dose of the meningococcal vaccine will be required prior to entry into the 12th grade. 

    Documentation of the required vaccines or handwritten exemption must be on file on or prior to the first day of school. Please submit documentation as soon as possible.

     Contact your licensed health care provider to see if your student has had the required vaccine(s).  If not, schedule an appointment for your student to receive the vaccine(s).  Public Health-Miami County offers vaccines at a reduced cost.  Please call 937-573-3500 for more information.

     PLEASE NOTE: ORC 3313.671 states that a pupil can remain in school for 14 days after the start of school. If the appropriate documentation is not submitted, the pupil will be excluded from attending school and participating in sports or extracurricular activities.

     1st day of school is August 24, 2017 (Grades 1-12) and exclusion date is September 15, 2017. (this date accommodates the Kindergarten start date of August 29, 2017)
