Garmann Miller

Tipp City Schools and the design firm Garmann Miller are seeking input from community members as they create a vision for future growth and development.

Stakeholders will help create a comprehensive K-12 facilities plan. There are no predetermined outcomes.

Eric Baltzell, CEO of Garmann Miller, explained, "The purpose of the master planning process is to create a vision for the school district to guide future growth and development. It provides a foundation for making sound facility planning decisions with a focus on educational delivery and student development. "

February 16th, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, is the first of two community sessions to help establish priorities, discuss possible grade bands, and plan for the future. Community members can express needs, share concerns, and participate in brief surveys.

"Our process is titled  For you. By you. We define that as, for you: what's best for student development and what your teachers need, and by you: by your community, your task force volunteers, and your board of education," Baltzell added.

The second session is on March 7th. The meetings take place at LT Ball Intermediate School.

Because the content of each presentation will be different, it is best (though not required) for participants to attend both sessions.
