POWER OF THE PEN:   Due to conflicts with XC and volleyball post-seasons, we are offering one last tryout date for Power of the Pen. The last day for tryouts will be Wednesday, October 27th from 2:40-3:45. Please be prompt, and bring a pencil and chromebook. Please have your ride at the front doors promptly at 3:45 pm. Questions? Please see Mrs. Hughes or Mrs. Thompson.

Sports:  Fall Sports Banquet will be held on Monday November 8th at 7:00 pm

Cross Country:   Some of the running Red Devils will participate in the Ohio MS State Championships on Sunday at Dublin Jerome High School in Columbus. The girls will run at 1:45 pm and the boys will run at 3:15 pm. Congrats to all runners for an incredible season!"

Football:   We will be recognizing the 7th grade football team at the high school football game on Friday, October 22, between the 1st and 2nd quarter. The boys will get in the game for free, they need to enter through the team gate by the round house. We will have the boys gather by the scoreboard close to the end of the 1st quarter. Once the quarter ends, the boys will need to walk out to the 20 yard line on the numbers in front of our student section.

Volleyball:  The 7th grade volleyball team won the MVL Championship last night beating a tough Greenville team. It was a great night to celebrate everything the whole team has accomplished in the 2021 season. Congratulations to all of the girls for contributing to an undefeated season! Go Tipp!

Tipp 8th grade volleyball is the 2021 MVL champion team!  They defeated Butler in 2 last night with scores of 25-19, 25-14.  They never let Butler in the game by playing tough the entire match.  These girls finished their middle school seasons losing only 1 match in 2 years and are back to back champs in the MVL!  Congratulations to the whole team!

Boys Basketball:   Tryouts are on November 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

7th grade times will be 6:15-7:45 on the 1st and 2nd and 715-830 on November 3rd

8th grade times will be 4:45-6:15 on November 1st and 2nd and 6-7:15 on November 3rd.

You must have an updated physical on file to tryout. Any questions see Mr. Slyman or Mr. Folkertsma

Girls Basketball:   Tryouts:  In order to attend tryouts you MUST have a physical. Forms are available at TMS in the office or from Coach Brown (room 132).

Tue 10/26 - 8th 2:45-4:15, 7th girls 4:15-5:45

Wed 10/27- 8th 3:30-4:45, 7th girls 5:00-6:15 

Thur 10/28 7th 2:45-4:15, 8th girls 4:30-6:00

Softball:  Attention softball players! We will have open field on Wednesday at the high school field from 5 - 630. This is for all girls interested in playing school softball this spring, and is open for grades 7-12. Bring cleats and your equipment bag and water. Hope to see you there!  

Wrestling:  Optional open mats for wrestling are at the high school Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4:30. Please make sure you have another middle schooler to wrestle as you are not allowed to wrestle a high schooler. If you have questions find Mr. Duch in Mr. Enz's room or ask him at lunch.  


We are offering shuttle busses to the high school this year.  All we need is a note or phone call from you and Mrs. Eldridge or Mrs. Stenger will give your student a bus pass.  We cannot write a pass without confirmation from a parent or guardian.
