This announcement is for 6th and 7th graders only! Are you a student that would like an opportunity to be a leader in the school? Are you interested in creating positive change at TMS? If you answered “yes” to both those questions, the D.E.V.I.L Squad may be your opportunity to do those things! The D.E.V.I.L Squad is a new team at TMS next school year. D.E.V.I.L Squad stands for Dedicate,Encourage,Voice, Inspire, Lead. The D.E.V.I.L squad will meet once a week during Red Devil/Lunch period with Mrs. Alexander. The group will meet and talk about student issues and needs that arise throughout the school year. They will work as a team on how to tackle these issues. This is a service driven group that will make positive change at TMS by taking action within the school, community and beyond. If you’re interested, please email Mrs. Alexander or stop in her office and let her know by this Friday, May 20th. There will be 6 spots available (2 per grade level). Voting will take place for these positions next week. See Mrs. Alexander if you have any questions! This club is different from Student Government and Student Council. You are allowed to participate in all the clubs.

Unplug the device and power it off.
Remove the Chromebook from the case.
Wipe down the device with 70 percent isopropyl alcohol and distilled water and a microfiber cloth.
Never spray anything directly onto the Chromebook. Wet the cloth first, then wipe the device. You may use a Clorox Disinfecting Wipe that has been rung out so that no liquid drips onto the Chromebook. Never use bleach!
Vacuum out the case. If there is still hair in the case, use tape to remove the hair from inside the case.
Charge your Chromebook completely before the collection! The Chromebook must turn on at collection. If it does not, you will have to sign off that it did not function. If stored without a charge, the battery may not hold a charge next year.
A missing charger or case will be noted at collection and the student’s account will be billed.
As we prepare for the end of the year Chromebook collection, it is important to know if your Chromebook is not working properly or you are missing any of the following items: Your Chromebook, charger, case or the color coded name tag. If you are missing any of these items, or your Chromebook needs repair, please see Mrs. Gross during Red Devil period before the last week in May. This will speed up the hand in process and help us to order items if needed before storing them.
Student Council is holding "Pennies War" the week of May 16-20. During all lunches, students and staff can donate money in each grade's bucket. Pennies give your grade positive points and silver coins and dollars give your grade negative points. So put pennies in your grade's bucket and other money in the other grades' buckets. Winning grade will be rewarded with something super exciting! The best part is we will donate ALL money raised to Dayton Children's Hospital. Thanks for sharing with others!
