8th Graders & 8th Grade Parents
Any 8th grade student interested in the Washington D.C. trip for this year is asked to attend an informational meeting with your parents on Monday, October 3, at 7:30 (OR right after volleyball ends - whichever is first) in the gym. We will discuss the fees, itinerary and answer any questions you may have. We will also have paperwork to pick up. Hope to see you and your parents there!
8th Grade Girls
8th grade girls interested in the Edison STEMM Expo are encouraged to turn in their permission slips ASAP to Mrs. Eichenauer. Registration is limited!
The Scholastic Book Fair is here! Students will preview with their ELA teachers today and may begin shopping today during RED Devil. Donate a quarter for a chance to win 1 of 25 posters. You may enter more than once. All donations help us buy books through the All for Books campaign. The Book Fair accepts cash, checks made payable to Tipp City Schools, eWallet accounts, and credit cards. All sales are taxable at 7%.
Congratulations to the Dewey Decimal Challenge winner for September, Guinevere Bailey. She wins a free book at the Book Fair valued up to $10.
PBIS cards are back to recognize students who do an extraordinary job displaying respect, responsibility, and integrity. If you receive an instant winner card, you may either turn it in at the office for a piece of candy OR you may give the card to your RED Devil teacher for a special drawing at the end of each nine weeks. The drawing will be for the quarterly PBIS Games. If your card is drawn from all those submitted, you will be selected to be a participant in the PBIS Games, where students will use their strength and wit to defeat other grade levels and teachers. Between the individual games, more PBIS cards will be drawn for gift certificates to DQ, Target, Amazon, and more. Be sure to fill out your PBIS cards with your full name so that you can be a winner!
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 14 from 4-6 P. M. for a TMS tailgate at Howell Field (by LT Ball). We will have music, food, games, fun, and face painting. This is our homecoming football game at city park, too, so make it a night of fun! Admission is 5.00 per student and includes a hot dog, bottle of water and all the games and fun. Pop and candy will be for sale as well.
We are looking for students to join the yearbook club. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Pierson for an application. Applications are due by October 7th.
