Blind date with a book is here for the month of February. Books are disguised in a bag with words written on a card to describe the book. When you find a description that interests you, bring the book to Mrs. Torrence to check out. Then you can unwrap it and see what book you picked. If you want to enter the contest to win chocolate and a $10 Scholastic Book Fair gift certificate, read 25 pages of the book and fill out the short review.
Per students' request, the Dewey Decimal search is back. Pick a Dewey Decimal number and locate the nonfiction book on the shelf. Show the book to Mrs. Torrence. If you are correct, you will be entered to win a $5 DQ card. You may enter once per week.

Tipp City Schools and the design firm Garmann Miller are seeking input from community members as they develop a comprehensive K-12 facilities plan.
