THANK YOU, Tippecanoe Educational Endowment, Miami County Foundation, Tipp Foundation, for supporting the arts in our schools. Nevin Coppock first graders loved their Muse Machine Artist in Residence Program that integrates classroom curriculum and the arts. Students wrote a musical play, rehearsed, and performed for their families. #WEareTIPP

It's School Library Month. Join us in giving a round of applause to our elementary Library Clerks who always have a smile, a kind word, and a good book suggestion for our children. Thank you Mrs. Woltz, Nevin Coppock; Mrs. Kiser, Broadway; and Ms. Szwarc, LT Ball. #WEareTIPP

We look forward to seeing our students back in the classrooms and on the playgrounds next week. We hope everyone is enjoying spring break. #WEareTIPP

What a Spring Break for the Tippecanoe High School Marching Band--performing down Main Street U.S.A at Disney World. We hope you had a wonderful trip, made beautiful memories, and enjoyed the magical experience! #WEareTIPP

GRATITUDE. Gratitude increases positive emotions, life satisfaction, hope, and optimism. Additionally, it is believed that gratitude lowers levels of stress hormones, anxiety and loneliness. At the start of the month, the district's Health and Wellness committee provided each employee with a gratitude journal and simple weekly writing prompts. Many employees expressed gratitude for Kari Prall and Becky Jones who took us on the journal journey! #WEareTIPP

And, here is the corrected version. Time for Spring Break! Who is ready?

Don't forget about Friday's shortened day.

Tipp City Schools will resume afternoon dismissal for our elementary students. The tornado warning has been lifted effective at 4:15 p.m.

Due to the Tornado Warning from the National Weather Service, school dismissal has been delayed.

Weight Loss Challenge: Red Team vs. Black Team. This morning was the last weigh-in for the ten transportation crew members who mapped out a journey for a healthier lifestyle. Congratulations to these amazing participants! We think they are all winners! #WEareTIPP

Have a wonderful day! #WEareTIPP

The 1st grade classes of Amy Blake, Nancy Carus, Angie Anderson and Sandy Berning created classroom communities. Each student "constructed" a building that would be found in a community and added amenities such as parks, lakes, and rivers. Streets were named after the students; towns were named after the teachers! Blakeville, Carusville, Andersonville, and Berning Town. Students then had to navigate through town using a compass. This activity helps cover the geography standards of places and regions, and spatial thinking and skills. #WEareTIPP

The Tippecanoe High School Theatre Department invites you to the presentation of The Lightning Thief. Be sure to get you tickets! #WEareTIPP

IMPORTANT UPDATE
Due to rapidly rising water, flooded roads, and closed roads, the district is closed today, Monday, March 7. This is a calamity day for Tipp City Schools and NOT a remote learning day. We apologize for the late notice.
