Coach Jacobs shared that at the Coldwater Invitational, Ramsey battled through a 32-team bracket to earn a spot on the 1st place podium. 👏🏼He pinned a tough semifinal opponent in the third period. 🔥🏊‍♂️Tippecanoe High School swimmers delivered outstanding performances at the 2026 SW Classic Swim Meet, the largest swim meet in the country, competing against more than 120 teams over two demanding days. Athletes raced in morning preliminaries at Trotwood Madison High School and advanced to evening finals at St. Xavier’s Keating Natatorium, showcasing determination, grit, and sportsmanship throughout the meet.💪🏻👏🏼Three swimmers earned spots in finals, a significant accomplishment at an event of this caliber:
🏅 Ridley Brenner (Sophomore) – 50 Fly, 6th place; 100 IM, 13th place
🏅 Liam Dunkle (Sophomore) – 50 Fly, 9th place
🏅 Avery Anderson (Senior) – 1650 Freestyle, 15th place
Head Coach Christine Bathgate shared that every swimmer achieved multiple lifetime bests, with athletes dropping seconds from previous times, trying new events, stepping in for teammates, and demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship. 🌍🌟 Student Spotlight: Making a Global Impact 🌟🌍We’re proud to spotlight Tippecanoe Middle School seventh graders Audrey Garrett, Haidyn Mains, Sophie McCormick, Elaina Patry, and Dinah Orr, for their leadership, compassion, and global awareness.👏🏼👍🏼During their lunch and recess time, these students took it upon themselves to learn about how school and daily life differ for girls in Belize. 🏫📚Wanting to help, they brainstormed ideas, organized a fundraising initiative, shared their plan with their principal, and created posters to promote a flower sale.🌼🌸Through their efforts, $200 was raised for Building People Movement, a nonprofit organization in Punta Gorda, Belize, to support Kaeren Tuel, a 15-year-old student. ☺️The funds will help provide textbooks, school supplies, and shoes, items that will make a meaningful difference in her education.📚✏️👟 This initiative is a powerful example of students using their time, creativity, and compassion to positively impact another student’s life across the globe.
