Four Tippecanoe High School students competed in the Xtreme Bot Competition in Cincinnati. They created a robot to meet weight and safety specifications for the one-pound robot class. They won their first match and were the first team of the day to win by pushing their opponent into the trap door. The robot suffered irreparable damage to a wheel during the second match. It was the team's first robot competition; they hope to compete in the 15-pound class next year.
