Solving problems and creating prototypes. That is exactly what students in Dale Bonafis' Design Thinking class are doing. Tippecanoe Middle School media specialist Maggie Gall-Maynard asked the students to address a real-life school need. She wanted a better way to organize her book genre stickers, and TMS students were up to the challenge! She is testing the prototypes and will select the award-winning design. #solvingproblems #designthinking #WEareTIPP

As the first semester nears its end, we asked a few new staff members to tell us about working in the district. Nevin Coppock newcomer Kim Hale said, "Teaching kindergarten after all these years has been a welcome change. My year has already been filled with many "firsts" that I can't wait to experience again. I've been experiencing things just like my students, and I've loved every second of it. After being at my former school district for 18 years, I was concerned that I wouldn't find a "home" again. Tipp City has proven me wrong. Nevin Coppock is an incredible place to teach. The staff is like family, and the families who have entrusted their "prized possessions" to me have been supportive and kind. I'm blessed to be a part of this amazing community doing something that I love. "
