Learning about economics is a lot more fun when toys and play are involved! 🧸🎲L.T. Ball Intermediate fifth graders welcomed Cathi Hall, owner of Topsy Turvy, as they wrapped up their economics unit focused on entrepreneurship. She shared how businesses choose inventory, set prices, respond to supply and demand, manage costs, and make decisions that affect profit. Her energy, enthusiasm, and real-world examples helped bring concepts such as goods and services, scarcity, specialization, and entrepreneurship to life. 🙂And, of course, the visit included an important reminder about the value of play for children and adults! 😊Thank you, Cathi, for giving our students such a fun and engaging look at what it takes to run a successful local business! #WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #topsyturvy #thankyou #entrepreneurship #economicsinaction #localbusiness #guestspeaker #thankyou
