At the time of his nomination, he was hitting .429, leading the MVL with four home runs, and making a strong impact at second base following a recent position change. 🌱☀️ The Tippecanoe Middle School Garden Club is hard at work getting ready for another growing season under the direction of Dale Bonifas! 🌼🪴Students have been busy planting seeds indoors under grow lights, including peppers, radishes, lettuce, and tomatoes, while also preparing the outdoor garden spaces for the weeks ahead. They recently pulled the rain barrels out of storage and got them set up just in time for the weekend rain in the forecast. 🌧️💧This week, students also rolled up their sleeves to begin weeding, watering perennials, and getting the garden beds ready for planting. 👑📚✨ It is Fairytale Day for our kindergarten students at Broadway Elementary, and the costumes are bringing so much fun and creativity to the school day! Students came dressed as their favorite fairytale characters, and some of the looks are truly amazing. 🗽📚 L.T. Ball Intermedia fifth-grade students are learning about immigration in the early 1900s and recently had the opportunity to take part in an Ellis Island simulation. Through this experience, students gained a better understanding of what many immigrants may have gone through upon arriving in America. 🥎👏 Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School Athlete of the Week Jaina Drum! 🌟❤️Jaina, a senior on the varsity softball team, has been making a strong impact for the Lady Red Devils this season. She is currently second in the MVL in wins with 6, seventh in ERA at 4.02, and fifth in strikeouts with 35. In addition to her work on the mound, Jaina has also played a solid second base and is batting .324 on the season. 💪
