📚 Storytime got a little more animated at Broadway Elementary! First graders were all in for The Book of Rules—especially with Mrs. Woltz leading the way. This is not a sit-still-and-listen kind of story. Students get to follow along with silly directions, make faces, use movements, change their voices, and act out the “rules” as the book unfolds.
And when Mrs. Woltz gets into character, the students are right there with her. 😄#WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #storytime #bookofrules #lovetoread

🏈 Congratulations to Tippecanoe Middle School Athlete of the Week Elliot Rice, an 8th-grade football player! Coach Taylor praised Elliot for a tremendous performance in the season opener against Piqua, where he made an impact on both sides of the ball with his effort, physicality, and toughness. 💪🏻One of the biggest moments came in the final seconds, when Elliot recorded a key sack to help prevent Piqua from scoring. Coach Taylor also highlighted Elliot’s team-first mentality after he stepped into a new position following an injury and rose to the challenge.👏🏈#WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #tmsathleteoftheweek #congratulations

🎉 We’re excited to introduce Chloe Berner, a second-grade teacher at Broadway Elementary School! 🧑🏻‍🎓A graduate of the University of Findlay, Chloe says three things made Tipp City Schools stand out to her: the way our community shows up for its schools, a district that keeps looking for ways to grow and get better, and the strong teamwork that happens both inside and outside the classroom.🏫She is looking forward to being part of a school community where families, staff, and students work together and where everyone plays a role in helping children succeed. In her classroom, Chloe’s goal is to make sure students are engaged, supported, challenged, and confident in what they can accomplish.❤️📚#WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #newstaff #welcome #newschoolyear #universityoffindlay

⚽ Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School senior Griffin Federle, a captain on the Red Devils varsity soccer team, on being named THS Athlete of the Week! Coach Slyman describes Griffin as a catalyst for the Red Devils’ defense, which has allowed just two goals through five games against strong competition.💪👏“Griffin has stepped up in a massive way this year both on and off the field. He has demonstrated tremendous work ethic, elite leadership, and on-field execution, and he sets the standard for us every single day.” Griffin’s leadership has helped the Red Devils earn a 4-0-1 record and a current top-10 state ranking. #WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #reddevils #athleteoftheweek

📢Broadway Elementary and L.T. Ball Intermediate will have an early release on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday due to the extreme heat expected this week. Broadway Elementary will dismiss at 1:15 PM, and L.T. Ball Intermediate will dismiss at 1:20 PM. Broadway Elementary does not have air conditioning, and indoor temperatures are expected to reach levels that could significantly impact student learning and the school environment. Because transportation schedules for Broadway and L.T. Ball are connected, both schools will dismiss early. TMS and THS will operate on their regular schedules. Families should make any necessary arrangements for the earlier dismissal. Thank you for your understanding as we work to provide a safe and effective learning environment for students and staff.

🍪 Look who made his annual visit to Broadway Elementary this morning!
The Gingerbread Man stopped by to greet our kindergarten students as part of a favorite beginning-of-the-year tradition. After reading The Gingerbread Man story, students take part in activities and then head off on a Gingerbread Man hunt through the school. 🌟🏫Along the way, they have fun searching for clues while also learning their way around the building, becoming familiar with important spaces, and gaining confidence in their new school.🏫🙂#WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #gingerbreadman #

🌱🥕 Members of the Tippecanoe Middle School Garden Club grabbed their tools and plenty of enthusiasm to tend to a garden full of fresh vegetables! Students spent time caring for the plants, checking on the harvest, and seeing firsthand the results of their work. It is a great way to learn responsibility, teamwork, and a little about where our food comes from, while enjoying time outdoors. Special shoutout to their advisor, Dale Bonifas, who tends to the garden during the summer. 🌿🍅#WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #tmsgadenclub #reddevils

❤️🤍Who knew a pile of shoes could turn into some serious competition? 👟😄During a recent Advisory Period, Tippecanoe High School students were challenged by their principal to build the tallest tower possible using shoes donated by classmates willing to take them off. 🩴They had just 10 minutes to plan, build, adjust, and hope it all stayed standing. Students in new teacher Josie Palmer’s class earned bragging rights and the coveted golden oar with a winning tower of 48 inches. 🏆Teamwork, communication, cooperation, and a little creative engineering were put to the test. #WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #reddevils #teamwork #advisory #shoetower #friendlycompetition

Teamwork was the name of the game Friday at L.T. Ball Intermediate! 🤝❤️Students in grades 3 to 5 took part in team-building activities designed to strengthen communication, cooperation, problem-solving, listening skills, and trust. 🙂🌟Along the way, they practiced working together, encouraging one another, and finding ways to reach a common goal--skills that will serve them well in the classroom and beyond. 👏🏻🏫A fun way to build connections and start the school year strong! #WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #teambuildingactivities #newschoolyear #reddevils

Hard hats required with great minds under construction! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️🧠Broadway Elementary students are getting into the spirit of this year’s theme, “Great Minds Being Built,” with plenty of smiles and some pretty impressive hard-hat style. And with a new school rising right here in Tipp City Schools, the theme feels especially fitting. While crews are building for the future, our students are busy building knowledge, confidence, friendships, and big ideas every day. ❤️🏗️📚#WEareTIPP #tippcityschools #greatmindsbeingbuild #underconstruction #newschoolyear
