The District Wellness Team is at it again with another staff health initiative! It's helping participants prepare for the annual Relay for Life 5K hosted by LT Ball Intermediate. District staff has a 30-day plan to get ready for the May 19th event and every Thursday participants meet as a group to train together. Thank you, Wizards of Wright, for coming to LT Ball to teach students about Newton's Law of Motion. Students in the classes of Beth Hanes and Susan Clodfelter built rocket racers, tested them to make sure they traveled straight and far, and made modifications. #WEareTIPP

GRATITUDE. Gratitude increases positive emotions, life satisfaction, hope, and optimism. Additionally, it is believed that gratitude lowers levels of stress hormones, anxiety and loneliness. At the start of the month, the district's Health and Wellness committee provided each employee with a gratitude journal and simple weekly writing prompts. Many employees expressed gratitude for Kari Prall and Becky Jones who took us on the journal journey! #WEareTIPP
LT Ball Intermediate students celebrated their 3rd quarter PBIS success with hilarious "Minute to Win It" games! Students played Face the Cookie, Yank It, Paper Plate Drawing, Standing Pool Noodle, Hula Hoop Perimeter, and Floor vs. Lava. Lots of team building, strategy, and giggles. #WEareTIPP
