This week, Spanish 1 and 2 classes discussed the importance of Día de los Muertos in Mexico and other Latin American countries. Our Tippecanoe Middle School 8th graders decorated traditional sugar skulls, while some Tippecanoe High School students created skeleton masks. Spanish 2 students wrote poems honoring loved ones, pets, or cherished celebrities. They also created tin foil art (Hojalata in Spanish) to place next to their poems, all in remembrance of those who have passed away. #spanishclasses #WEareTIPP #DíadelosMuertos
👏🏈✨Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School Male Athlete of the Week Collin Isaac, a junior on the varsity football team. 👍 Coach Burgbacher shared, "Collin is 2nd in the MVL in total tackles with 112, leads the league in sacks with 4, and plays with an aggression every coach loves. Collin prepares like a Champion each and every week, and when it is game time, we know Collin will be ready!! Last week against Xenia, Collin led our team with 17 total tackles (eleven solo and six assisted tackles), three tackles inside the 20-yard line on the kickoff team, and had a tackle for a loss. Earlier this year against Troy, Collin recorded 19 total tackles (8 solo and eleven assisted tackles).
