The Tippecanoe High School Hope Squad and AP Psychology classes were invited to learn from Kevin Hines, a renowned speaker and suicide survivor. He travels the world sharing his story of hope, healing, and recovery to advocate for suicide prevention. He has become a best-selling author, global public speaker, and award-winning documentary filmmaker.
🎨Class of 2023 graduate Hannah Wildermuth created the winning design for the festival's fandana. Her message was "Plant Seeds of Hope." The THS Hope Squad was given a special shout-out for her artwork.
📕Junior Abby Chaney won a copy of Kevin's new book, and he signed it for her.
🎤Several students were included in a special interview with him after the presentation that he recorded for his podcast.

🏃♂️With a race time of 14:42, the THS sophomore is now a Tippecanoe XC record holder.

🌟What an adventure! Staff members Jena Galloway, Amy Grewscowle, Beth Hanes, Carmella Lammers, and Christa Oen attended an in-service to learn how to utilize virtual reality prisms.
💡This is a unique approach to teaching specific content areas in math and science with real-world scenarios. Students are challenged to complete simulations by applying their knowledge.

Shoutout to Tippecanoe High School Spanish teacher Ashley Ridge and her students from the last eight years who were recognized by The Pulsera Project, a program that supports artisans and communities in Central America. THS has raised almost $17,000 by selling hand-woven purses and bracelets. Team Pulsera presented the "longtime friends at Tippecanoe High School" with a banner crafted on a backstrap loom, a traditional and deeply culturally significant weaving technique passed down through generations of Mayan ancestors. #WEareTIPP #thepulseraproject
