Four Tippecanoe High School students competed in the Xtreme Bot Competition in Cincinnati. They created a robot to meet weight and safety specifications for the one-pound robot class. They won their first match and were the first team of the day to win by pushing their opponent into the trap door. The robot suffered irreparable damage to a wheel during the second match. It was the team's first robot competition; they hope to compete in the 15-pound class next year. Congratulations to Amaya Lipps, Amelia Staub, Evan Chesshir, Aubree Buehler, and teacher extraordinaire Annette Malott! #WEareTIPP

It was a beautiful Monday afternoon for after-school STEM activities. Students went on an Easter egg hunt and instead of finding candy, each egg contained an enrichment math problem for students to solve. Thanks to a grant from The Ohio Academy of Science, teachers Heather Bledsoe and April Taylor are teaming up to provide 4th and 5th graders STEAM enrichment activities to challenge and inspire them! #WEareTIPP #STEMactivities #welovescience

Thank you, Abbott Industries, for hosting Tippecanoe Middle School STEM and Engineering 101 students from Dale Bonifas' class. The students took a tour of the research laboratories and plant floor, taste-tested products, participated in several hands-on activities, and asked questions to a panel of Abbott employees in various STEM fields. Each student also received a drawstring bag with several "goodies" inside. #WEareTIPP

We look forward to seeing the smiling faces back in our classrooms. #WEareTIPP

Tippecanoe Middle School and Tippecanoe High School teamed up to collect aluminum pull tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in honor of a hospitalized student and his family. The tabs are recycled and turned into money for families of hospitalized children. While many staff and students are away for spring break, THS teachers Luke Zerkle and Mike Maley delivered the tabs. #WEareTIPP

After-school bowling was so much fun for these LT Ball students! Thank you to physical education teacher Jeanne Koch for organizing and chaperoning various activities for 4th and 5th graders to enjoy. They are making memories! #WEareTIPP
