🎉Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School track & field athlete Landon Kimmel for breaking the Miami County Meet Record last night in the 3200m run! Landon finished in 1st place with a winning time of 9:20.58. Landon’s time is the 2nd fastest in school history.

👏More honors for Tippecanoe High School sophomore Sadhil Mehta who attended the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Dayton Section Award Banquet.
He received a 1st place award for his independent research project, which has already earned many accolades.
He also participated in the Buckeye Science and Engineering Fair and received two special awards:

The Ohio Academy of Science recognizes and rewards pre-college student researchers as Melvin Scholars each year. These students will represent Ohio at the national American Junior Academy of Science meeting held in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science meeting. AJAS allows Ohio students to interact with other student researchers from across the country and scientific professionals from around the world. Due to the high number of staff requests for a personal day on Friday to attend the funeral of THS senior Carson Robbins, and the inability to fill many positions with substitutes, Tipp City Schools will be closed on Friday, April 21st. Please continue to keep Caron's family and friends in your thoughts during this heartbreaking time.


👏Congratulations to the Tippecanoe High School Academic Quiz Team for its 2nd-place finish at the Northwest Regional Tournament. 👏With this victory, the team qualified for the Ohio State Championships on May 6th. 🥈 This is the first THS Quiz Team trip to the state finals since 2011! The Quiz Team will be in action on April 28th as they head to the National History Bowl in Washington, DC. The annual field trip to COSI did not disappoint. LT Ball 5th graders had a fantastic time exploring the engaging, inspiring, unique exhibits at the Center of Science and Industry. #WEareTIPP

👏Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School students Evelyn Gold and Lauren Ivy, who earned gold medals at the FCCLA regional competition and qualified for the State FCCLA Leadership Conference!
🧁The students presented their project, "Cupcakes for a Cause," to a team of judges and talked about the importance of young children learning to bake and measure.
🎁They also raised money to support families at the Miami County Family Abuse Shelter to supply Christmas gifts to children. FCCLA, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, is a career and technical student organization. #WEareTIPP
