Parents Who Care

If volunteering more for a worthwhile organization is one of your New Year's resolutions, Parents Who Care welcomes your help.

PWC needs people to work at the Tippecanoe High School basketball concession stand at home games. One hundred percent of the proceeds support THS student activities such as the annual Powderpuff Football Game, Prom Red Carpet, and After Prom.

Parents Who Care is a parent-led volunteer organization responsible for coordinating and financially supporting these events. PWC has rented Scene 75 to provide a safe, private, and affordable After Prom. Last year more than 340 students attended!

To ensure these events continue to be financially supported, volunteer help is essential. There are still many basketball games without volunteers. PWC asks all community members to consider volunteering to work a shift. Organizers say it's easy, fun, and a great way to help teenagers have a safe and fun place to go after the prom.

Grab a friend or use the opportunity to meet other parents. Student volunteers are welcome to volunteer and earn service hours.
