🙌Deep gratitude to the Tipp Foundation! 🫶We’re incredibly thankful to the Tipp Foundation for their generous support in providing a grant to purchase evac-chairs for our schools. These lightweight, easy-to-use evacuation chairs help ensure the safety of our students, staff, and visitors with mobility impairments. In an emergency—whether a fire, earthquake, tornado or even a power outage—elevators in multi-story buildings can’t be used. This can put those with disabilities or injuries at serious risk. With these evac-chairs, we can now safely and quickly assist anyone who needs help navigating stairways during an evacuation. In the early stages of summer XC, Chris struggled to run for more than 30 seconds at a time. Most athletes would have quit after the first week, but Chris was motivated to keep going and get better each day. He now finishes a 2-mile race in 31 minutes! Chris has shown tremendous growth as a runner and continues to inspire all of us to 'do hard things.' Running aside, he is a joy to be around and can brighten your day in an instant.
