👏✨Our Tippecanoe Middle School 7th-grade Power of the Pen team had an incredible showing at the State Tournament at Ashland University on Monday. ✍️🏆Roman Zehringer, Cali Sevitts, Lily Van Oss (L-R), and Lillian Snell (not pictured) earned the 3rd Place Team Award against some of the best young writers in Ohio.💪Even more impressive, all four students advanced to the fourth round of writing, placing them among the top 54 writers in the entire state! This year marks the 22nd season of the Tippecanoe Science Day Program and the 21st year Tipp City Rotary has provided funding to help send students to Upper Miami Valley Regional Science Day. 🎾 The Tippecanoe High School boys tennis team is sending six players to the OHSAA Division I District Tennis Tournament after an outstanding showing at sectionals. Nick Von Krosigk and Alex Darner qualified in singles, while Quinn Gagnon/Brecken Owen and Rohan Patel/Finn Gillenwater qualified as doubles teams. 👏Before districts, all six qualifiers will compete for sectional seeding during the Sectional Semi-Finals and Finals on Friday, May 15, beginning at 10:00 AM at the Troy High School tennis courts. 🏃‍♂️🔥 New school record and new MVL meet record! Congratulations to Tippecanoe Middle School track and field athlete Seth Shroyer, who set a new 800-meter record with a time of 2:09.78 at the MVL Championships. Seth is also our TMS Athlete of the Week! ⏱️👏Seth came into the season determined to compete. After starting with a focus on the 400, he gave the 800 a try after the second meet and quickly set his sights on the school record.🙌🏻 After coming within less than a second at the Miami East Invitational, Seth kept pushing.
