Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School senior Brenna Custer for earning an associate's degree from Sinclair College! She is the only THS Class of 2022student to complete an associate's degree through College Credit Plus prior to high school graduation. #WEareTIPP

Congratulations to Brenna Custer for earning her Associates Degree last week from Sinclair. Brenna was 1 of 69 graduates that night. The 69 students that earned a degree that night represent less that 1% of the entire CCP population of students.
Brenna is the only Tippecanoe High School student to complete her Associate degree prior to graduation. She has earned an Associate of Liberal Arts and Science. Brenna will be continuing her education at Miami University.

Time for more Congratulations! The Tippecanoe High School Symphonic Band received a I (Superior) rating at OMEA State Concert Band Finals! The band received straight 1’s from all three judges. This is the first time since the 2014-2015 school year that the band received Superior ratings at both Marching Band and Concert Band State Finals! Tippecanoe High School students and staff gave the gift of life today during the annual blood drive. More than 70 people registered; there were 55 draws.

Top student researchers from Tipp City Schools presented their award-winning projects to Tipp City Rotarians this week. This is the 18th season for the Tippecanoe Science Day Program (the first round of competition) and the 17th year that Tipp City Rotary has provided funding to send students to the next round, Upper Miami Valley District Science Day. These 12 students from LT Ball, TMS, and THS qualified for State Science Day in May. It was "Hope Floats Day" at Tippecanoe High School. Hope Squad teamed up with Upper Room Worship Center to serve ice cream floats during lunch today as part of Hope Week, fives days of events to reduce mental health stigma and promote positivity and empathy. #WEareTIPP
It was an unusual birthday celebration at Tippecanoe High School. Students in Humanities II taught by Denise Moore and Alexis Gentry researched an artist, decorated a gift box, and selected 6 unique birthday presents for the recipient. Funny, creative choices! #WEareTIPP

The District Wellness Team is at it again with another staff health initiative! It's helping participants prepare for the annual Relay for Life 5K hosted by LT Ball Intermediate. District staff has a 30-day plan to get ready for the May 19th event and every Thursday participants meet as a group to train together. What a great way to be prepared while helping a wonderful cause! #WEareTIPP


Another health initiative by the district's Health and Wellness Committee. The committee purchased an automatic blood pressure cuff for each school and Board of Education office. Thank you Kari Prall and Becky Jones for promoting positive health behaviors! #WEareTIPP

Staub Manufacturing Solutions, provided a tour and an update on its partnership with Tipp City Schools. THS student Drew Harshbarger is the first to take advantage of the district's pre-apprenticeship program with the metal fabrication supplier. Those who supervise and mentor Drew commend his performance, strong work ethic, and positive attitude!
Tippecanoe High School students in the Spanish class of Ashley Ridge participated in a fun cultural activity. In parts of Mexico and Latin America, families color hollowed out eggs during the spring and fill them with confetti. They seal off the open side of the egg with tissue paper. Then on holidays such as Easter, they have a cascarones fight. The goal is to crush your confetti- filled egg on someone's head! #WEareTIPP
Tippecanoe High School students spent part of their day with "El Corazon De Mexico" to learn about the history and culture of Mexico through folkloric dance. The dance troupe performed several dances and brought the students on stage to learn some of the steps. #WEareTIPP
