👍🏻👍🏻Shoutout to the Tippecanoe Middle School students who performed in the OMEA District 11 honor band this weekend!🎶 Seventh graders Jaxen Anderson and Isla Culver and 8th graders Isaac Lesher and Hailey Everhart rehearsed all day Saturday and a couple of hours on a Sunday with guest conductors and band students from around the OMEA district. Each band performed 4 pieces at the well-attended concert on Sunday.👏👏 #WEareTIPP

❄️📚Students in LT Ball's after-school Math Club looked at the science of snowflakes, created geoboards, and used marshmallows and toothpicks for their designs. ☃️Students then identified the types of angles they found in their snowflake.❄️

🏊♀️Congratulations to Tippecanoe High School varsity swimmer Gracie Ganger, the Fem🎉ale Athlete of the Week. 🏊♀️This past weekend, she competed at the Southwest Classic Swim Meet in four events.🏊♀️ She qualified for finals in the 100 Breaststroke and 200 Breaststroke. She broke her own school record for the 200 Breaststroke. 🤩Outside of the pool, she is an excellent leader and teammate. Her younger teammates watch her and learn a lot about dedication and work ethic. ⭐

Solving problems and creating prototypes. That is exactly what students in Dale Bonafis' Design Thinking class are doing. Tippecanoe Middle School media specialist Maggie Gall-Maynard asked the students to address a real-life school need. She wanted a better way to organize her book genre stickers, and TMS students were up to the challenge!
