LT Ball Intermediate hosted a staff and student Kickoff Assembly last week, including Team Building Activities. The 4th and 5th graders had a great time with the challenges presented to them. #WEareTIPP

It was a special welcome for Nevin Coppock students, who were surprised to see the Gingerbread Man greeting and high-fiving them this morning. The Gingerbread Man shows up at the start of every school year to help kindergarteners learn their way around the building. #WEareTIPP

The Miami County Parks District visited LT Ball Intermediate as part of the watershed program. Naturalists talked with students about how our habits affect the water supply. Students visited different stations with hands-on activities to learn more about natural resources and to be good stewards of our environment. #WEareTIPP

👋Tipp City Schools extends a warm welcome to Tippecanoe Middle School English Language Arts teacher Kylee Mann. 😊Kylee is happy to be back where she started her teaching career. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy playing outside with their twin daughters, taking walks, and spending time with family and friends. #WEareTIPP

It was a beautiful night for the district's Welcome Back event before Friday's football game. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success. And thank you to Superintendent Aaron Moran for grilling the hotdogs. #WEareTIPP #welcomeback #newschoolyear

Introducing the district's Director of Exceptional Children, Kasey Stafford. Before joining Tipp City Schools, Kasey worked internationally in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE. While overseas, she worked as an Intervention Specialist, 4th-grade teacher, and Inclusion Coordinator and Director. Before working overseas, Kasey was a Secondary Special Education Coordinator and 6th-grade teacher. #WEareTIPP

Broadway Elementary students in the class of April Taylor read Mr. Peabody's Apples. The book's theme is that our words are powerful, and we need to think about how our words may make someone feel. Once we say something, we cannot take our words back. As a related activity, the students were asked to get all the toothpaste out of the tube and then once they were finished, they were told to put it back in the tube. They quickly realized this was impossible, leading to a discussion of thinking before we speak and how important it is to use kind words. #WEareTIPP

Thank you, Gleaner Life Insurance Society, Miami Valley Arbor, and The Beehive Coffee Company, for treating Broadway staff and parents to specialty coffees and other tasty beverages on the first day of the new school year. We appreciate the surprise! #WEareTIPP

Reminder:
Join us before tonight's football game to say hello to staff, BOE members, and friends. We will have grilled hot dogs, chips, and water for the first 500 guests. Look for us in City Park. #WEareTIPP

👍Congratulations to Tippecanoe Middle School Red Devil Athlete of the Week Aubree Wright. 🏐The 8th-grade volleyball player started the season strong with a great serving effort against Mad River and had the team's highest number of serves in a row. 🏐She also successfully kept her serving run going after Mad River called a timeout which is always a goal for a volleyball player. #WEareTIPP

Today, we introduce our new Nevin Coppock and Broadway Elementary music teacher Jonathan Gaul. He is excited to begin his journey with Tipp City Schools. He loves making music and sharing its joy with others. You might get to see him perform as he plays his saxophone with many local concert groups. #WEareTIPP #elementarymusic
