Congratulations to the Tippecanoe Middle School Garden Club for winning the Dayton Regional Green competition "The Giving Garden." The competition encouraged businesses, schools and individuals to create a garden space and donate the produce to a local food bank. The TMS Garden Club donated more than 150 pounds of fresh produce to Needy Basket. Thank you to advisor Dale Bonifas and his amazing students! The top award includes $1,800 to further develop and improve the TMS courtyard and garden. #WEareTIPP #TogetherweareExtraordinary

Tipp City Schools appreciates the generosity of Needy Basket, a local organization that provides food and other assistance to families in our community. Now, the district is holding its annual food drive to restock the shelves. How many pounds will we collect this year? We know our students, families, and staff will make this tradition a success! #WEareTIPP

Tippecanoe Middle School students in the Accelerated Math 6 classes of Christa Oen and Mackenzie English completed a unique STEM activity. The students designed and built a scaled-down model of a balloon float for the Macy's Day parade. Students solved story problems to obtain the measurements and supplies they wished to have for their float. The students did an amazing job with this! They were very creative, cooperative, intuitive as they persevered through situations that arose. The floats ranged from bobblehead turkeys and rolling floats to fishing poles and Santa Claus.
