It is National Principals Month and today we give a shoutout to Tippecanoe High School principal Dan Barnes.
🏫When asked what he loves most about his job, Mr. Barnes said there is a three way tie---the students, the parents, and the staff. 👩🎓The students at Tippecanoe High School are incredible. They are motivated, disciplined, and successful. 🧑🎓The parents have been great as well. He enjoys speaking to them at the different functions. 👩🏫 Finally, it is the staff because they are great and always ready to pitch in and help. He admires their devotion to the students.👨🏫
✍️When he was in school he wanted to be a writer and planned to attend Bowling Green to pursue a Creative Writing degree, but life intervened and moved him into education!
🌮Mr. Barnes' favorites foods are Mexican and pizza, but not together. Taco pizza is not a favorite.🍕
😂One of his favorite activities as THS principal was last year's After Prom at Scene 75. He was dreading going and being out until 2:00 am, but it was a blast!

Reminder:
It's a 3-day weekend for students. It is Professional Development Day for staff so no classes on Friday. Would you rather have a long weekend with a Friday off or a Monday off? #questionoftheday #WEareTIPP
